Founded in 1992, Habitat for Humanity of Anderson County is an ecumenical ministry that builds simple, decent and affordable houses with participating families; working with diverse individuals, organizations, and faith communities to serve others.
Based on Christian principles, Habitat welcomes people from all walks of life to join in our mission.
A Hand Up, Not a Hand Out
Habitat does not give houses away. We offer a hand-up to those in need by providing zero-interest mortgages and homeownership training.
Cost of a House
It is the time and financial investments from generous volunteers and donors that enables us to keep our costs low.
